  • spaghetti: 300 g
  • onion: 1 piece
  • canned tuna: 160 g
  • caperberries: 10 piece
  • black olives: 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice: 1 Tbsp
  • olive oil: 2 Tbsp
  • salt: 1 g
  • black pepper: 1 g
  • parsley: 1 bunch

  1. Take a deep pot and boil water for your spaghetti. As soon as it boils, add salt and spaghetti. Cook with regard to instructions mentioned on the pack. Meanwhile, let’s cook the canned tuna sauce. Chop an onion (you can use blender for that purpose) and fry it on olive oil until it becomes transparent. If needed, add a bit of water into the frying pan to prevent the onion from burning.

  2. While the onion is being fried, cut black olives into circles. Then wash the caperberries to get rid of extra salt and chop them a bit.

  3. About 3-4 minutes later, add black olives and caperberries to the onion, stir them and keep stewing for 3 minutes.

  4. Strain the oil from the canned tuna and add the tuna to the vegetables in the frying pan.

  5. Mix everything well, add salt and black pepper. If you wish, you can also add a few drops of lemon juice and several tablespoons of water, where the spaghetti boiled.

  6. About 5 minutes later, add chopped parsley to the sauce. Taste it and add salt if needed.

  7. Put spaghetti into a deep serving dish and pour the tuna sauce above! If you wish, you can mix the ingredients and add salt if needed or you can leave the dish just as it is! It will look great as well and your guests or family members will mix the ingredients themselves. Serve the dish warm, having sprinkled it with a few drops of olive oil! Buon Appetito!!!
