Ingredients

  • chuck roast: 1 piece (3 pound)
  • pepperoncini: 0.5 jar (12 ounce jar)
  • pepperoncini juice: 0.5 jar (12 ounce jar)
  • unsalted butter: 0.5 cup
  • packet au jus gravy mix: 1 piece (1 ounce)
  • (0.4 oz) package buttermilk ranch dressing mix: 1 piece
  • salt and ground black pepper: (to taste)

  1. Combine chuck roast, pepperoncini, pepperoncini juice, butter, au jus mix, ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low until roast is fork-tender, about 8 hours.
