This garam masala recipe is an aromatic blend of Indian spices. Garam masala is better when made with whole spices that have been roasted and ground, but this is a quick and easy substitute that's pretty good.

Ingredients

  • ground cumin: 1 Tbsp
  • ground coriander: 1.5 tsp
  • ground cardamom: 1.5 tsp
  • ground black pepper: 1.5 tsp
  • ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
  • ground cloves: 0.5 tsp
  • ground nutmeg: 0.5 tsp
